International Meeting - »Geoarchaeology in Central Europe«

First circular / Call for Papers
The second international meeting is organized by the German working group on geoarchaeology in cooperation with the Archaeological Heritage Service and State Museum of Prehistory, Saxony and will be held in Dresden, Germany from April 30 to May 2, 2009 at the Japanese Palace.
Call for papers
The German working group of geoarchaeology calls for papers for oral and poster presentation. Researchers dealing with geoarchaeological topics are invited to present their new results in terms of innovative working techniques and/or recent field investigations. Additionally we would like to encourage contributions from all regions of Central Europe with focus on Poland, Czech Republic and Eastern Germany. Contributions of young researchers and research groups are specifically appreciated.
Please submit your abstract for oral or poster presentation (max. 400 words + one figure) until December, 31, 2008 to D. Faust (dominik.faust@tu-dresden.de)
Main conference language will be English; oral presentations in German will be accepted only with an attached English handout.
Participants who are interested to visit a concert at the famous Semper Opera should contact us latest December 1, 2008 for ticket reservation (tickets range from 40-80 â?¬).
